Listening to bad quality bootlegs from the a live acoustic set by The Cooper Temple Clause - ah this brings back memories. Me and Paul queuing outside in the rain, only just getting my photo taken with Ben and Tom. And hearing Written Apologies acoustic made my spine tingle it was THAT good.

I’m in a good mood cause looky what turned up in the post today:

Oh and my laptop is aliveeee, I had to take out battery and put it back in (was thinking about it for days now and the idea just struck me) and that’s sorted it. Well not sorted it, it still has a broken keyboard and it only charges when it feels like it yada.

Got a few days without distractions, so shall enjoy and do something useful. Though am working everyday from Saturday till Wednesday :(

Damn, it’s warm today, even this house feesl toasty and this place is usually like a fridge all the time.

So so so sleep deprived today, stupid working on Sunday bollocks crap shit rubbish arse.

Been thinking about sorting out a printed Photography portfolio. Going to do some light reading, need to investigate print prices and also need to pick out some shots. I’m a bit scared about investing this sort of time and money into this, but I already brought the prsentation folder ages ago (erk expensive much).

I don’t want to go to work, someone make it go away?

The pen tool has always scared me a little, I mean in general I’m pretty nifty at picking up software and tools and what not. But the vector pen tool, nope nada - always looked at it and thought “what the hell do I do with this?!”.

Then one of my old work colleagues gave me the basic heads up and now I’m not so confused. But I’m still not very confident in it though it would be a valuable skill to have.

I need to practice.

I’ve decided to try and make a concept design for a website for Neil’s band ‘The Lice’ - I haven’t a bloody clue what I’m going to do for it, but I’m sure inspiration will hit me like a big tick that will cling on until I do something about it.

Must. Fight. Urge. To. Watch. Lost.

Stop hammering. Stop talking. All I’ve heard is yak yak yak this morning while I’ve tried to get a decent lie in on my ONLY day off from work till Thursday. GWARGH.

24 days until pay day. I count every moment with deep anticipation. I feel really woeful of late so I’m going to make a nice list instead.

Things to look forward to in the future:

• Getting paid!
• Going to Leeds to see everyone again and to that Muse cinema showing
• Going to Leeds for Bob’s DUCK WEEKEND - fingers crossed
• Going to Amy’s for the weekend and catch up
• The catch up going out session in town with Amy and others
• Theatre in Lunndunnnnnnnn with Nick
• Going on a weekend somewhere with Darren to take photos again (Not snowboarding though)
• Being able to afford a replacement 50mm lens
• Curing my nail biting habit
• Possible festivals?
• Summertime!
• The Guy’s end of uni house party, if they have one?
• My birthday…I guess I should start thinking about it. I thought a theatre weekend in Lunndunn but will need something else now. Maybe a holiday? Who would and could go on Holiday at the end end of September?Nobody! Because that’s when everyone goes to uni and all that rubbish. My birthday is set at a rubbish time.
• Going to a fetish club with Darren, has to be done at least once in lifetime
• Travelling. I’m determined to do it, got to do it, must do it.
• Eating some decent sushi again from somewhere
• Getting my 18-55mm back
• Slaughtering Nick at “Last man standing” in a fair duel :P
• The day I wake up and think, this is it, this is the day I really change my life

I don’t really need to write this one, but I’m kinda in one of those blogging moods, and I’m also thinking if I’m typing then I’ll at least STOP biting my nails for a short period of time.

So…work…lets start there…

Erm yeah…those bags I was talking about last entry…I kinda erm…brought them.

I was trying to decide between the two but then I just thought sod it, and brought them. I feel so pangs of regret or anything like that. Maybe I’m becoming a real consumer whore now.

Ah I miss talking to people on msger. Like proper long long all night chats like me and Darren tend to have back back backk in the day. I tend to stay off msger these days though because it’s like the ultimate time sucker, I never get anything done. But I do miss it, just wasting away the hours…I guess in a way the late night skypes that were had kinda were the replacement ha. But I don’t even get to have those any more.
