Yesterday I got up at 5am after going to sleep at 1am to start work at 6am…

Yes work sales are insane because they start at 5am, even more crazy still is that when I turned up at work 5.40am the entire shop is heaving like hell with people all over the place clutching large and full plastic bags of stuff. The queue for the tills runs across the store towards the fitting rooms, and I immediately abandon my plans of pre work shopping, and go have a cup of tea instead.

It was Emma and Amy’s birthday yesterday, and Amy has invited me along for some quiet drinks at this club in town. The problem that arose however was that I was working from 1.30pm till 8pm that night ugh.

So today I had my first shift at work.

It was alright, I had a bit of light training which was basically listening as various gallons of information was read out to me. It wasn’t complicated at such, but my main problem is memory - so unless I get use to it then I will tend to forget things like technical terms and such. It’s weird how technical/jargony retail can get.
