WP is now up to date. (You happy now Bob?)

Been productive today, after a feeling pretty miserable over work.

400d body and 18-55mm lens are getting pick up tomorrow to be repaired/looked at. This will hopefully ensure everything is sorted out with my AF issues. Plus I can do the ‘Week of point of shoot’ challenge I’ve been meaning to do. The idea being I am going to demonstrate that it’s the photographer not the equipment that makes for good photography, I’m quite excited about the challenge - it’ll be like olde times.

I really really miss being in Southend, I don’t know why that is, I think it reminds me a lot of uni times, living close to mates, just going around not doing much apart from gaming or going out somewhere random for drinking/socialising.

I can’t wait till V fest, not for the festival actually but for the fact I’ll be back in old familiar turf and I can catch up with some mates as well. It’s a bit bad, as each day goes on and I grow more poor I get more and more tempted to sell the weekend ticket and just take up Bob’s plus one for the day. I haven’t even paid for my ticket yet, and hence the temptation is strong. I’ll just have to trust that the company will be cool and will entertain and that the couples there won’t just eat each other alive with their mouths

I suppose I can look at the bright side; I can punch Will young fans. Then again this isn’t Reading/Leeds or Download, V is going to be filled with aging indie fans. Ohh what would I give for some crazy metallers to start a circle of death in the middle of a V crowd. Maybe for Muse I can knock out some of those “I WANT YOUR BABIES!!!11!!! MATTTTTTTTTTTTTT OHHHHH I LOOVVEEEEEE YOUR SKINNY ARMS AND FINGERS AND RAT-LIKE NOSE AND I WANT A MANSON JUST TO BE LIKKKEEE YOUUU AND WEAR YOUR CLOTHES TOO AND THE WAY YOU PLAY THAT INVINCIBLE SOLO MAKES ME CUMMMMMMM COZ ITS THE BEST SONG EVARRRRR!!111!111″ fans for entertainment. (Well except Karis, I suppose she can be excused).

I really really want a good gig sometime. Nine inch nails might be on the cards after they’re done in the US. But it seems we have hit a dry spell in the gig world again.

Coffee Hangover?

Mood : busy and hungover
Curently Listening to : Radiohead - I will

I feel rough this morning, really exhausted and worn out - is very odd. Then again I didn’t go to bed till quite lateish after giving The World Ends with you a crack on the DS. It’s very confusing. My guess is my body doesn’t quite like the coffee overdose.

Plus today I feel like I have a zillion annoying jobs to do that I don’t want to do because they might be scary and annoying and awkward. And I’ll go grr from trying to do them. BUT! Must try stick with the lists, got tp carry on with this productivity and all.

Everyone seems to be buzzing from the London Radiohead gigs, ah reminds me of that wonderful post gig buzz, when you come out from such an awesome gig that you’re still high from it for the week after - that it gives you this new refreshed love for the band. I miss that :( I want gigs dammit. Heh I remember last year where I just went to so many gigs - oh those were the glory days.

Bands I would still like to see

  • Portishead (I was so stupid to miss them last time they played :()
  • PJ Harvey
  • Tori Amos (again I missed my chance :()
  • Ours! (I’m soo flying to new york one day just to do that)
  • Mansun (hey they might reform)
  • My Vitriol
  • Kidneythieves (please reform)
  • Explosions in the sky
  • 65daysofstatic
  • Bush (never going to happen oh well)

Right, must get these jobs done before the weekend.

Maybe it’s time to find out where I’m at

Mood : :)
Curently Listening to : Steven Wilson - Sentimental

I’m not sure which is worse, the fact I went to perve after pics of Aaron North on flickr, or I found a flickr account full of Aaron North pics…

To be fair about 70% of the attraction comes from his guitar antics when playing with NIN. Why I find that there’s something extremely attractive about a guy prancing, jumping, throwing himself about a stage while ripping out a flood of heavy thumping raw sounds and intently destroying stuff around him is beyond me…

So yeah…anyway…

You love ass yeahhh you love ass…

Pretty hectic going.

Hehe I usually torment Ste by singing “You Love Ass!” at him to the tune of “You love Us” by the Manics, which has then led to the abuse of Manics song titles where you try and superimpose the word “ass” into it…

Anyyywayyy…
