Welcome to 2.6!
Tuesday, August 5th, 2008WP is now up to date. (You happy now Bob?)
Been productive today, after a feeling pretty miserable over work.
400d body and 18-55mm lens are getting pick up tomorrow to be repaired/looked at. This will hopefully ensure everything is sorted out with my AF issues. Plus I can do the ‘Week of point of shoot’ challenge I’ve been meaning to do. The idea being I am going to demonstrate that it’s the photographer not the equipment that makes for good photography, I’m quite excited about the challenge - it’ll be like olde times.
I really really miss being in Southend, I don’t know why that is, I think it reminds me a lot of uni times, living close to mates, just going around not doing much apart from gaming or going out somewhere random for drinking/socialising.
I can’t wait till V fest, not for the festival actually but for the fact I’ll be back in old familiar turf and I can catch up with some mates as well. It’s a bit bad, as each day goes on and I grow more poor I get more and more tempted to sell the weekend ticket and just take up Bob’s plus one for the day. I haven’t even paid for my ticket yet, and hence the temptation is strong. I’ll just have to trust that the company will be cool and will entertain and that the couples there won’t just eat each other alive with their mouths
I suppose I can look at the bright side; I can punch Will young fans. Then again this isn’t Reading/Leeds or Download, V is going to be filled with aging indie fans. Ohh what would I give for some crazy metallers to start a circle of death in the middle of a V crowd. Maybe for Muse I can knock out some of those “I WANT YOUR BABIES!!!11!!! MATTTTTTTTTTTTTT OHHHHH I LOOVVEEEEEE YOUR SKINNY ARMS AND FINGERS AND RAT-LIKE NOSE AND I WANT A MANSON JUST TO BE LIKKKEEE YOUUU AND WEAR YOUR CLOTHES TOO AND THE WAY YOU PLAY THAT INVINCIBLE SOLO MAKES ME CUMMMMMMM COZ ITS THE BEST SONG EVARRRRR!!111!111″ fans for entertainment. (Well except Karis, I suppose she can be excused).
I really really want a good gig sometime. Nine inch nails might be on the cards after they’re done in the US. But it seems we have hit a dry spell in the gig world again.
