So after working a full day at work from death o’clock (5am) till the afternoon, I managed to squeeze in a shower, nap and food before hiking over to Amy’s flat for this somewhat random gathering of girls, wine and bad music…
I first met Kev’s mate Leon a good while ago last year, I recall it was in a pub in Leeds before going to see the Manics play later that evening. I don’t remember much at the time, but he seemed a sound bloke, and I remember chatting loads about the gig before driving back home that night.
Then the next time we meet and hang out is during the weekend where Muse played at Wembley stadium. Immediately he became quite a legend to all he crossed paths with, because to put it lightly, where Leon went, amusing and somewhat drunken chaos followed.
I think the words ‘what a guyyyy’ come to mind…
Anyhow….a while after we hear that Leon is engaged! And we were invited…
