Mood : tired and iffy

1. What was the last song that stuck in your brain and wouldn’t go away?
Ermm does the intro to Starlight by Muse count? I’ve been humming it constantly during last weekend

2. What’s something that sticks around long after you wish it would leave?
Bad smells, bad people, stains?

3. To what use did you put your last sticky note?
I wrote a message to stick on Nick’s Birthday stuff

4. When did you last have Pixy Stix?
After checking out wiki the last time I’ve had powdered sugar from a stick? Well a good long long time ago methinks.

5. What is something you are a stickler for?
Erm I don’t know really, I’m usually a very cluttered person anyhow, though I do like things to be nice and tidy if possible.

Go away stomach weirdness :(

Curently Listening to : Muse - Supermassive black hole

1. What did you last replace batteries for?
A torch before V festival

2. What have you thrown away that you probably could have had repaired?
Ermm maybe my festival boots, they weren’t broke, just caked to high hell in mud. I abandoned them in a field mind

3. Among items in your line of sight right now, what should probably be put in the trash?
Erm nothing at the mo thankfully. Maybe the package bag a parcel came in.

4. When did you last use disposable cutlery while dining in your house?
When I was finishing off some cold chips and cheese the other weekend.

5. Whose actions cause you to waste time you otherwise wouldn’t waste?
Upper management decisions, unreliable people/friends, people who aren’t willing to make an effort in return, people who won’t respond to a job application

Mood : tense

1. Of television programs that aired before you were born, what’s your favorite?
Hmm I don’t know to be honest, I only really enjoyed shows that were from my era

2. What person of historical significance was from your neighborhood or city?
Dunno, some pilgram fathers I guess

3. What’s a story that’s often been told about someone in your family in the years before you came along?
Probably things about my brother

4. Which of previous generations’ dumb mistakes (in deed or thought) baffles you the most?
Why did people have to go and kill a lot of other people, and why did people let this all happen?

5. What aspect of life in the good old days would you love to see a return to?
I’ll like to see kids actually behaving like kids and also hence forth respecting their elders, the days when university degrees meant something, the days where you would have to go to the shop to pick up the newest album - take it home and play it for the first time. When wispas were always around :(

Boring boring, I’m off to pack, dry my hair, wear clothes and find breakfast and driveeeeeee

Mood : hungry
Curently Listening to : Silverchair - Emotion Sickness (live)

1. When you go to the beach, lake, or pool, are you more likely to lower yourself gradually into cold water or to take a determined plunge and get it over with?
Erm depends, I like lowering in, or if on holiday just dangle my legs in for a while then just go in. Unless you get someone splashing you then you might as well just go for it.

2. How is this like (or unlike) your approach to other tasks or ordeals?
Ha, I don’t know really. Are you saying that I ease myself into things, or hang about for a bit before going in? Or even that if someone is pressuring me then I might as well just do it? - Well Maybe, I guess so. I’m not sure.

3. When someone gives you flowers, are you more likely to let them turn completely brown and gross before throwing them out, or to discard them the moment they take on that sick-flower look?
I don’t get sent flowers :( Though I keep them for as long as possible, before I chuck them.

4. How is this like (or unlike) your approach to other gifts, purchases, or relationships?
Well if you receive a gift it’s not like you’re going to throw it out is it? And I’d be a tad concerned if that was how I handled my relationships :/

5. Think of your favorite movie (or a movie you really like, if you can’t think of a favorite). Some people say that the reasons you love your favorite movie are related to what you value in romantic relationships. How is this true or untrue in your case?
Well my favourite film at the moment is The Butterfly Effect (director’s cut with the diff ending though), it’s an underrated and unusual film and I’m damn hell unsure how it would relate to my values in a relationship. Anyone feel free to make up your own thoughts on that.

Yeah, this Friday five is a bit meh.

In other news I think I might be going to see the Dark Knight tonight!! Dannii is trying to get tickets first, but if she does I’m sooo there ^_^ I had been harassing Nick to take me but he’s relieved of the duty if I can go tonight. Then again if it’s THAT good then I’ll go see it again I’m sure.

Been poking about new look Facebook, intriguing, fiddly and the layout is a bit annoying. Have also started to think about whether to start importing my blog in as notes again. Though might stop this as I don’t like the idea of there being multi-copies of my ramblings online. And having it linked to facebook in such a manner will encourage people to read it more too. I like how it can show updates for when I’m uploaded to flickr though - that’ll be handy.

Friday ermmm Monday Five….

1. What was the last meal that caused you to be ill?
Ermm I usually stomach food pretty well, the last time I had chronic food poisoning was just after christmas and before new years of 2006

2. Are there any places you never dine anymore because of a bad experience hours after the meal?
Nahh not really, I may have stopped dinning there because a) food quality got crap or b) It got too expensive or c) I found somewhere better!

3. What’s your prescription for dealing with a food-caused illness?
Stay in bed, drink fluid, never eat food again, die

4. When friends tell you about coming down with food-caused illnesses, do you avoid the places they name, or do you figure it’s a dice-roll wherever you go?
I dunno sometimes I might, and sometimes I’ll ignore it. It depends on what sort of place they’re on about I guess. Or I could just avoid the same food they ate from that place

5. After numerous citations, a very, very popular restaurant that you’re quite fond of is shut down by the health department until it can get everything up to code. When the health department gives the restaurant the o.k. to reopen, do you go?
Ohh tricky, depends on how tasty the food is. Though I can’t imagine liking anywhere that much that has that baddd health issues.
