“Nothing worth having in this world comes easy”

So, it’s like everyday I feel like I need a constant reminder of why I should keep on trying, the little reminder comes in many forms - sometimes it catches you unaware, and other times you can seeing it hitting you before it’s even locked on target.

So just an overall jist of the weekend…

Curently Listening to : The Prodigy - Diesel Power

I’m living off toast made from questionable slightly damp bread 0_o tea and The Prodigy.

Alright so it’s about five days left until Download, I need to start preparing and stuff. Namely I need some new festival boots cause my current ones are no longer waterproof and are trashed. But I totally forgot all about this - so yeah where on earth am I going to find boots in the summer.

Then I need all the usual festival junk, like bog rolls and wet wipes and bin bags and stuff like that.

I think I’ll make a list later in the weekend.

Okay…

Stay in the game.

Curently Listening to : Porcupine Tree - Four chords that made a million

Everyone is going crazy because there’s suddenly Muse gigs to go to. Well okay more like a festival and a charity gig. But alas it’s shot a spark of life into everyone.

The tickets for the charity gig go on sale at 10am today, alas due to my current status I can’t get tickets anyway, so would need someone else to sort it. Well okay, namely Bob ha. Thing was…I feel like the only person who isn’t remotely excited or moved by these possible gigs. It’s like I would got way more excited if it had been say Nine inch nails or Porcupine Tree playing, I wonder why this is?

The other one is that Muse area headlining V Fest. Quite a few people are hyped up for that one yet again and I don’t feel anything for it. Maybe I’m being rather passive or something? Or maybe if it had been Reading or Leeds again I would have thought Ooo more, as V fest is okayyy, I’ll consider daytripping, but then again if it’s the usual good bunch that are going then I’m sure it will be a super laugh. So I dunno…

Andddd there’s also Download, which has an odd line up and the headlinners are a bit well not pants just two out of three I wouldn’t say should be headlinning. Then again I would go see Motorhead and incubus..so it’s a bit of a mix…I don’t know about going, I know a few people going already but I’m not sure if I’d feel a certain sense of alienation due to not knowing everyone etc etc. Not that’s ever stopped me in a social situation, but you know, it’s like I have to go to a festival with lots and lots of people I know and get on well with. Yada yada.

Anyway, how do I decide what to do when it would cost in excess of £200 quid for a weekend fest? And I have debts to contend with at current.

Off to the daily grind I go.

Mood : hmm
Curently Listening to : My Vitriol - Sometimes

Well, headliners are KISS, Lost Prophets and The Offspring…

An interesting mix methinks, I recon KISS would be pretty ace to see. Lost Prophets…not sure about them as a headliner though I quite like them. Offspring hmm ace and good live though again a more metal headliner would have been nice.

Others announced at Motorhead (oo),  Judas Priest, HIM (ick) and Rise Against (who the fuck are they? Ah well so goes the idea of NIN headlining haha.

I don’t feel pulled at all, I’m not sure why, no bands so far that make me go “Oh my god I have to see them or I’ll DIEEE”, maybe the metaller in me is dying or on standby? I don’t know…

I think I would like to go to a festival abroad this year. That would be cool.
