I’m currently caning through episodes of Animals of Farthing Wood on Youtube.

Seriously, I’ve been proper giddy about it since discovering them. It’s like I remember watching these when I was proper proper young. I read some of the books. I just loved it.

I don’t know how many people remember it, I guess it depends if you grew up on BBC 1 (with the likes of ed the duck!) or you were a ch3 kid, then again I did crossover for the likes of some badass How2 action, or maybe some Art Attack. Anyhow, it’s still damn good to watch even now I’m in my twenties. Who cares about specifics (like can animals actually drink water from a swimming pool?) .

My favourite series is the second one, when Fox and Vixen have cubs, and then there’s scarface. Cause the baddie in the last series isn’t so good with Bully.

Man it’s so sad that I remember stuff like this, and I’ve probably lost a lot of cool factor by going on about my admiration of a TV show featuring talking animals. (There goes my man points).

But ha, who cares really? I’m off to enjoy a piece of my childhood.

Just watched the first episode. Totally badasss, found myself just smirking while watching it. I already know what’s going to happen because I’ve read the book, but it doesn’t take away from the show at all.

It’s sooo good, and it makes me want to go travelling soo much.

Darren and me have occasionally been talking about doing some sort of road trip sometime. Though it’s a bit hard at the moment what with lack of financial security and all at the moment. But ideally I would love to go on a bit road trip next summer. Summer 2009 is my vague target for a big road trip. Darren’s thought about driving to Australia, though we’re thinking more realistically driving to somewhere like Italy. Imagine…beating hot sun, and endless roads, new sights and sounds and visions. New people, new places, you can wake up in one country one morning, then the next morning be somewhere completely different.

Yes, by Summer next year I’m going travelling, might have to sod festivals and stuff like that though, but hey, the line ups are getting shite anyway, and festivals are becoming trendier by the year. And it’s not like I’ll have a career by then to worry about, or any real commitments. I think I would like to spend my life working, then travelling, and so forth. And when I want to settle down with a career, I’ll just be some uber freelancer, so I don’t have to deal with the office politics stuff. Or get one of those jobs that aren’t really anything to do with what you’re interested in, but pays remotely well so you can live a kinda comfortable life.

Yes. That’ll do me nicely.

Two months before I turn 24, tragic, sincerely tragic that I have barely seen anything in my life. So I must must must do some big trip before I’m 25, I don’t know why 25 as such, maybe it’s the point where I think I’ll start turning really really olde, so you know. Here goes…

Just finished season 2, ah didn’t take me long to get through that. Pretty ace as always, a bit crazy near the end, but cool none the less. Gripped me just like the first season, maybe less so I guess, because it was all cool and new at the beginning. Can’t wait for the next one!

Argh, I have totally watched these far too quickly now. I think it’s stopped being about the amusement value but more so about the storyline. Kinda like how you feel with friends after a certain point.

Still enjoyable, and seemingly the only thing that I can and hold my attention without me getting bored and meh afterwards.

Ah finished watching Season 4, was pretty good too, Cox still rules my world though the janitor had his moments. Elliot makes me giggle when she starts spilling out her tales of the past that sound crazy and weird. Kinda makes me think of myself when I’m babbling or drunk.
