Though personally I should just freeze myself, that would save me money while I’m defrosting.

Ah a catch up list is called for methinks…
- Been away for the weekend, was most enjoyable involving the likes of bowling (my arm hurts and I suck), cooking (pasta goodness), baking (CAKE!), maybe some wine (only with the food…and cooking), swings (Weeee!) and some tasty tasty sushi (while having to feed a invalid who couldn’t use chopsticks ;P)
- Financially bollocked - no spending! Apart from on petrol (bloody money water) and maybe if I go for a drink in the weekend.
- Just got a lovely letter from the Student loans company, oh yes, you now owe us £99999999999999999, 9247897483467893y4893278327, 9324793490374 more moneh than you did last year. Soz
- Feeling good about photography lately, new people seem to be acknowledging my ability which is nice. Plus Leon loves the photos from the wedding I took, so that’s kinda making me feel more encouraged to head towards shooting weddings. I do need to get some skills/training in handling flash though. I like it that something I’ve created can make people smile, and that I would be capturing something simple and wonderful.
- I need to find a quick way of making money (without selling ones body and self respect)
- Need to stop chewing my nails gargh
- Start new position tomorrow, welcome to the world of early starts again - oh heck
Yeah I think I’m quite busy at the moment, still generally bored though, I mean my to do list is overflowing, but it’s all just your every day boring random tasks. There’s no real excitement - le sigh.
Twitter is peving me off because it won’t let me twitter from my phone telling me my pin is invalid, when I don’t have a pin set - what a gayer. Plus they seem to be having problems in general and turned out their api stuff - get your act together twitter!
Ah I better go and do stuff and try not to spend money by just existing, plus I want to do a cloning shot today for 365…
Ahh
Friday, June 27th, 2008Olives selections + breadsticks + black books = mmm
All I need is a glass of red.
Pan’s Labyrinth
Friday, June 27th, 2008This is such a good film - dark and full of fantastia.
It’s about a girl, Ofelia who is believed to be the returning soul of a princess for an underworld. I know it sounds a bit complicated, but it isn’t. There are other plots going on as well, but pah you just got to see it for yourself.
It’s odd, I seem to have watched loads of foreign films lately - and they’ve all been goodd.
Yeah I’m knackered, sod writing more.
Leon’s Wedding Weekend
Thursday, June 26th, 2008
I first met Kev’s mate Leon a good while ago last year, I recall it was in a pub in Leeds before going to see the Manics play later that evening. I don’t remember much at the time, but he seemed a sound bloke, and I remember chatting loads about the gig before driving back home that night.
Then the next time we meet and hang out is during the weekend where Muse played at Wembley stadium. Immediately he became quite a legend to all he crossed paths with, because to put it lightly, where Leon went, amusing and somewhat drunken chaos followed.

I think the words ‘what a guyyyy’ come to mind…
Anyhow….a while after we hear that Leon is engaged! And we were invited…
Coffee Hangover?
Thursday, June 26th, 2008I feel rough this morning, really exhausted and worn out - is very odd. Then again I didn’t go to bed till quite lateish after giving The World Ends with you a crack on the DS. It’s very confusing. My guess is my body doesn’t quite like the coffee overdose.
Plus today I feel like I have a zillion annoying jobs to do that I don’t want to do because they might be scary and annoying and awkward. And I’ll go grr from trying to do them. BUT! Must try stick with the lists, got tp carry on with this productivity and all.
Everyone seems to be buzzing from the London Radiohead gigs, ah reminds me of that wonderful post gig buzz, when you come out from such an awesome gig that you’re still high from it for the week after - that it gives you this new refreshed love for the band. I miss that :( I want gigs dammit. Heh I remember last year where I just went to so many gigs - oh those were the glory days.
Bands I would still like to see
- Portishead (I was so stupid to miss them last time they played :()
- PJ Harvey
- Tori Amos (again I missed my chance :()
- Ours! (I’m soo flying to new york one day just to do that)
- Mansun (hey they might reform)
- My Vitriol
- Kidneythieves (please reform)
- Explosions in the sky
- 65daysofstatic
- Bush (never going to happen oh well)
Right, must get these jobs done before the weekend.
