Ahhh it’s like an old familiar friend that’s returned to you.

Loadss to do, really excited, everything seems to be running as it should, had a few worrying moments with drivers and stuff but now it seems I’m on the cool part of just installing junk back on it again.

Only issue is that my cd drive and ide drive might be clashing, but I’m going to change the tape and see if that’s all cool. Otherwise I think I’ll just connect to it and take off a few things from it then make do without it. Man I have a beefy 500gig hd now, and I don’t know what to do with it all haha.

Pc temp is currently averaging 32C mmm excellent. Only thing not tested properly yet is the sound, as have yet rigged up speakers to make sure it’s working. But will find out tomorrow.

Must sleep now as there is much to be done tomorrow, so an early start needed.

Plus I have to leave my hds to format anyway.

*big massive sigh of relief*

God I’m neverr building another pc again. The one time experience was bad enough alone!

God, you can’t believe how much I squealed and jumped about when it booted. Now windows have been installed but what I have to do next is move out the computer room because that’s going to be redecorated too now :(

So I can’t do any of my usual pc stuff till tomorrow probably. Oh well, patience…patience…

So, while I sit here and wait for a few things to get back to me, I’m going to yabber on a bit about nothing.

I think I want to invest in a film slr camera and start having a go shooting with that. I’ve shot before with my Dad’s old slr though I wouldn’t mind one of my own. I don’t know I’ve always felt that film shots have this alluring wonderful quality about them that you just don’t get from digital.

Uka had recently been showing his shots from using film and it’s just inspired me that I need to investigate further.

After some comments in the photography thread I have vowed that I was going to prove that you didn’t need an amazing camera to produce amazing photography. In fact I was going to do a week of point and shoot action, though I need to find the best time to do it. Too busy and behind on my 400d processing means I can’t really do it yet.

But if my exercise works, then I’ll hopefully be able to show that you can offer great results, even with a somewhat stupidly many years old point and shoot.

I love silly things like this, it’s the whole thing taking an idea and just doing it. Not having this mentality of ‘Don’t be stupid’. It’s one of those it seems so complicated but really, it isn’t.

I wish it wouldn’t keep being vice versa for me ha.

I stumbled across this site that had Jimmy talk about each song in Mercy, and it was pretty good. It was nice to find out how each track came about and what they meant.

Anyhow, an interesting thing to note was that the second track (which I adore) called The worst things beautiful, is a song he wrote for his son where he explains to him how much he’d changed his life since he was born, and that if he ever felt really really down, that to hang on on a little longer because eventually things will get better. Hence…worst things become beautiful…

Ebuyer have told me they found a fault in my PSU - Woooo! They’re sending a replacement, which means I shouldn’t have a problem with getting my pc to work. God, it’s been almost a month now, but soon I will be able to enjoy the liberty of a new set up soon. Just hang in a little longer. I can’t wait to get it back! Seriously, I just want to process my photos so bad, get on with some creative stuff, yada. Though first I need to get it running and do all the boring stuff I getting to exactly how I want it.

Been nibbling my nails a bit :( technically I was only trimming them slightly with my teeth but still the notion is still BADDddd, though overall it’s not too bad. Going to redo the varnish myself later today probably. One of my days off this week was going to be designated girly day, where I have a random pamper - ie paint my nails and sit about with a face mask.

Have decided I need to take daily walks out the house even if it’ll be the same boring route. It’s because I need the exercise. And I could always take my 400d on my stroll, might start later today - depends how cold is it.

Went to bed super early last night, even without work - played a bit of phoenix wright 3, I was stuck for ages cause I stopped played and lost my flow but now I’m back again. I even forget which episode I’m playing but I don’t want to google it in case I accidentally spoil myself haha. I want to get that finished soon though, so I can no longer live in fear of being spoiled.

Finished season two of Scrubs last night (instead of working on the CV ermmm…) , love it, Dr Cox is still awesome. Only three more seasons to go ha. Oh oh oh oh and new season of peep show next month sqeeeeee!

Been thinking about what to get for my bro for his birthday, though I might just make him a cake and be done with it. Some ideas floating about but nothing I’m sure about./

Feel pretty run down and sick this morning, I don’t get it I went to bed at a reasonable time, hell I’d crawled into bed before 1am loads of times recently. But I still wake up feeling groggy and dreadful. What’s with that?

Another week of no spend money (till pay day) begins.

Last week to sort CV stuff out. But first…a day of work to go…
