Confused Organisation

Mood : busy
Curently Listening to : Ours - Trust is dead

I’m currently having one of those moments where I think “Why did I start this sodding task in the first place?” Even though that I know it will be worth it in the end once I’ve finished.

Right at the moment I’m trying put my zillion photos into some organised system. It’s a bit confusing because if I wanted to keep it simple I would just have a folder for each dated set of photos…Right…

But then I have a load of photos that don’t have dates because they’re that old and probably taken with that rubbish digital camera I got years ago that resembled a brick and didn’t even have optical zoom…

So fine I can lump them in their own category folders.

But what about the ongoing projects? And these category folders, they’re going to get massive, how can preserve and back them up all the time?

And then if I move RAW files in picasa to their new home their existing RAW settings file doesn’t go with, so I have to do it in explorer. URGH

Why does it have to be soooo complicated.

Stoopid…stuff. And I’m such a hoarder too, but in a way it pays off, I have photos from go knows years year ago and it’s ace to look back and see how young everyone looked and has changed since then. Whereas me? Meh I look the same…cept chubbier…with longer hair…

Meh I was meant to have just done this job easy peasy then work on the new blog design, though as usual I’d been distracted by stupid things like greasemonkey scripts and flickr and boredom and boredom.

In other news getting quite excited about Stu’s birthday weekend shimdig , it’ll be the first time I’d gone away from home since Stockholm - wow how long ago was that now? Lonngg. Oh I found the perfect present for Stu too but I can’t afford it ha, and if I did get it cheaper online it wouldn’t get here in time.

Also decided that I need to (unwillingly) stop eating so much red meat, I mean I use to be hooked on chicken and ham. But now since I got into steak I’d been hooked on that ’cause it’s dead tasty and ignored chicken. Now I’m wanting to eat more chicken and fish stuffs, then maybe I can get rid of le podge.

I wish winter would go away. Blurgh cold tis was very much.
