TERRIBLE LIE!

Mood : knackered
Curently Listening to : nothing

Sooo…

I just got back from my last nine inch nails gig for a long while now, and well what can I say amazing as usual. I’m surprised over how this band never fail to impress and excite me live. It was weird before, I was feeling tired and I kept saying to Rafe “I can’t be arseeddd” ha, then we got in and it didn’t help that it was absolutely baking! I then started to feel sick and the bass from Ladytron’s set made me feel even worse.

So yeah, after suffering for a bit I wait about for NIN’s set to start, though Rafe had buggered off to get another drink and go find some other people, leaving me round the frontal ara on my lonesome. Oh well the view was a good at the time

Anyway as soon as the show kicked off I suddenly came to life, all my illness and pains dissolved and were left forgotten and I had an awesome time. The crowd were an awesome bunch round me, no one was being a bastard or an ass hole, barely any shoving/squishing/pushing ness just lots of jumping, rocking and dancing. I had a laugh and some people were nice and let me slip in front of them. I played it reasonably safe and then got stuck right in for head like a hole and the hand that feeds.

The set was alright, they layed TERRIBLE LIE! which pleased me much because I was dying to see that played live again. We also got the usual tracks, with heresy, and down in it that I thought was pretty ace this time round. The atmosphere for the crazy tracks was ecstatic I remember at one point while jumping up and down like crazy I began thinking - this vibe was awesome, this was what nin crowds are meant to be like!

My only major criticism was that I spent most the evening being only able to see the left side of the stage and so watch trent and jeordie at it. I therefore wasn’t able to watch my favourite on stage entertainment of Aaron going at it. Though I think he jumped into the crowd at one point on the right hand side, I saw his guitar flying about in the air amongst the crowd, and I did see him prance over to the left hand side of the stage occasionally.

So overall a pretty damn good gig, I do miss the overhead lamps from last tour though the lit up screen isn’t a bad thing. It lacked enough amazing quirks for it to be absolutely utter top notch the best nin gig ever, but it still was incredibly tasty.

Plus I think I may fancy Aaron again :/

Anyway…

Not much been going on, except I registered to Twitter and added it to my blog here, I don’t see why I got it only because I got bored and Darren kept raving about it so I thought I would give it a go.

I watched Spirited Away last night, and all I can say is that’s once weird fucking film! I did get the storyline but there was just far too much weird stuff going on in it at once for me to really go “yeahh I fully comprehend it…”, probably a lot of metaphors about spirits and stuff like that.

Oh yeah went to have my last rainbow combo of the month with Wince in Birmingham earlier, was cool, got fed well and Wince wet herself(covered herself with water). Had a catch up chat and loitered about the place as usual.

Andd I went to the pub with Paul last night at the carvery pub, and had a carvery and it wad delicious mmm ness.

Now I am tired and need zzZZ and hope to stuff myself with sushi tomorrow then meet Ele for a catch up chat then maybe justt maybe head home…hmm
