Sooo…

I just got back from my last nine inch nails gig for a long while now, and well what can I say amazing as usual. I’m surprised over how this band never fail to impress and excite me live. It was weird before, I was feeling tired and I kept saying to Rafe “I can’t be arseeddd” ha, then we got in and it didn’t help that it was absolutely baking! I then started to feel sick and the bass from Ladytron’s set made me feel even worse.

So yeah, after suffering for a bit I wait about for NIN’s set to start, though Rafe had buggered off to get another drink and go find some other people, leaving me round the frontal ara on my lonesome. Oh well the view was a good at the time

To carry on my watching stuff spree, I ended up watching Memoirs of a Geisha last night as well.

And interesting and pretty film that I think I would only really appeal to those fascinated by the Geisha lifestyle. It’s clear that wonderful and beautiful they are, the life of Geisha was by no means easy.

Overall it’s alright, a charming and pretty film.

Mergh must stop watching stuff and sort stuff out instead, I got loads of random things to do before I go tomorrow. Mergh

Why didn’t I watch this film sooner?

I love it, there’s something very pretty and romantic about it. I guess we all love the idea that wouldn’t it be great if could just erase a person out of life just so we wouldn’t hurt. But the film is about is it better to have loved and lost or never to have known at all.

It also makes me think about how I’ve never liked myself in relationships, where they get stale and don’t work out. But instead I love the chase, the very bit at the beginning when you’re trying to figure each other out and all. Then the best bit after, where you’re both new and endearing to one another, and to slowly ever so slowly find out about one another.

So yeah a good film, one of those that could be considered weird, jumping back and forth and all which actually made me appreciate it more.

• I had a good time at Leeds Festival, I’m sure it’ll get it’s own nice tasty blog entry though hopefully not a month later…
• I’ve not being taking many photos lately, I don’t know why. I’m not bored of it, just being very passive about picking up the camera

• This stupid bath bomb has made me insanely greasy, though hopefully will sort out my drying out skin
• I have really nice brown arms
• I am totally knackered
• I am aching all over
• I have sore feet :(
• Am completely skint at the moment
• I may have had some luck on the job front but we’ll see…
• I want to go to the Stockholm adventure badly :( hell to get out of this country for any length of time will do me
• Have become insanely addicted to germ buster on more brain training :/
• NIN again soon mmm

Before Leeds:

• Sort out burthday card for Alice
• Apply to those two jobs - ah arse
• Charge p+s batteries
• Sort out p+s CF card
• Update and charge mp3 player - stupid pc why won’t you install stuff properly :(
• Clean festival boots - well I found them…
• Don’t forget the festival essential: Bog rolls, wet wipes, money, ticket, maps
• Google map it to kev’s and festival

Hurrah I have managed to work out how I can record live streams, all I had to do was use my laptop duh - since it has a much better sound card than on here at least.

Time to sleep, busy busy

It’s 3am and I’m lying on the sofa of Kev’s living room glaring at the large HD TV. I have a mouse in my hand that’s rigged up to Lindsey’s laptop, attached to the TV and we’re browsing the website for Yo sushi, and for the hundredth time I flick through the pages of the online flash menu - still confused and as indecisive as ever (yet still secretly giddy at the sheer coolness and well builtness of the flash menu).

You would think that picking six dishes to eat out of a menu would be easy, hell I thought it would be easy, but alas that was not to be the case… While starting the task thinking it would only last half an hour tops, I found myself caught up in the muddle and frustration of trying to form the perfect combo.

Kev chuckles for a moment and says
