First real tasty shot I took with my canon 400D

Finally after literately months and months of waiting I finally get my Canon 400D:

Oh fucking yes…

If you’d been speaking to me/known me recently you’d known that the one thing I wanted most in the whole entire world at current (apart from a job which I succeeding in getting in the end), was DSLR camera…But not just any DSLR camera oh no, it was one canon 350D…But it cost in the range of £500-£600 pounds to buy one. No chance was I getting one with my student loan.

I have been wanting that camera for sooo long that eventually the 400D was released.

But now that the situation has changed, I know I have a secure income soon I set out and exploit the world of interest free purchasing. I went to jessops and got me a Canon 400D and 3 years warranty, and now I have a year to pay it off before they pile on the interest like mad!

This with my slowly increasing credit card is meaning that I am one girl that is getting into even more debt. It’s almost starting the scare the shit out of me, but hey! This is the big world now, we have to take risks like this. As Bob said to me, simplicity of wanting something and getting it.

Now I have to earn it and work fucking hard!

The day hasn’t been totally full of joy as I went to the dentist for the first time in about four years. In fact I discovered I had grown quite scared of going to the dentist, the guy who looked at my teeth was scary and it freaked me out the force he was applying on my teeth with the implements. I had actually grown that scared I was flinching every time he did something.

And then he gives me the big come down - He tells me I need four fillings

“FOUR FILLINGS!!” I yelled outloud, a little more than I should have.

I guess it figures, one for each year I hadn’t been to the dentist.

I really, really, really don’t want to go back because I hated it that much - but I have to go back not once…but twice! To get these fillings done. Fucks sake.

I hate dentists…(and spiders.)

Oh well I shouldn’t complain because I’m off for my Cooper Temple Clause weekend later - fun. And I shall have fun with my cameraaa <3

Last Friday I went to see 300 with me brother. It was kinda annoying because I had a very late night the night before because I had been on skype till late haha. None the less my bro had called me the day before asking about going to see 300, I was up for it but I he wanted to do it on Friday - but I had also wanted to drive down to uni city that night. So I was up for watching it but the earlier sh0wing the better.

He rang me on Friday morning and told me about this 2pm showing in Lincoln and I was up for it. Problem was I fell back asleep and he was due to pick me up at 1pm ha. Eventually I haul my ass up at like 10 to 1 and get ready. I’m a mess though - totally sleep deprived and I don’t even have time to eat.

We drive down to Lincoln and was almost late but there were like 20mins of adverts anyway! So there was no need to rush really. Bro buys the tickets and I harass him for food but he kept saying he didn’t have any cash bleh, and I was skint so I ended up surviving without food till right after the gig ha.

The trailers were kinda weird, they had like two very creepy horror trailers one after the other and it actuall freaked me out a little ha. But then the film started and it was cool.

What can I say, I’d seen the trailer last time I was at the cinema and it blew me away - and the film did the same. It was more about the visual style that really brought it to life, beautiful and stunning with a soundtrack to match - awesome fight scenes that despite the gore were brought to life in a kinda elegant and passionate way.

I urge those who loved the trailer yo just go see it because it’s worth it. For a gist of the tale it’s basically about a King taking 300 soldiers to defend against a Persian invasion - but it really is just more than that, so go see!

You may have noticed that I’ve finally got round to finishing another post about my Nine inch nails adventure, it’s now like two-three weeks on and I’m still writing about the damn thing! Well all I can say is one more post and then I’ll be done with that ha. I’m so behind in blogging it’s not funny - I need a to do list on here so I can remember..so much is happening so soon, especially with the TCTC weekend coming up…eepp…

But yeah check out my 2nd NIN post…it’s got to be the longest blog post I’d ever made!

Ugh need sleep, so much to do so little time and so many fooking distractions!

The postponed date

The reason I ended up going to FIVE gigs on this tour was purely through invitation and opportunity. When the dates were first announced I texted Darren and Leanne right away and let them know because they were usually my gig buddies when they play. Last time they had spent a weekend in London and attending all the dates there while I came down for one of the dates myself.
