Tonight I met up with Ami, David and Emma and we went for a tastyyy chinese before going to the cinema to see Hot Fuzz.

It had been a good while since we’d had a bit of a gathering like this, I hadn’t seen Ami in yoinks or Emma. Originally Ami had texted me out the blue asking to do something this Friday, I suggested cinema and getting a bite to eat before hand and that was cool. It then dawned on me belatedly to ask David and see if he fancied it too as I doubt I’ll get to see him much before I start work as I’m v v v busy next few weeks.

So we met up in town and went down to a chinese and got introduced to one of those cosy booth type tables, a bit silly really since the rest of the place was empty. We all ordered and the food arrived promptly. I was amused as everyone else tried to use chopsticks to pick up rice and failed while I did it like the norm ;) Emma immediately began flicking rice and stuff everywhere haha but yeah, scoffed food and chatted was fun.

We then ventured to the now busyyy cinema and the showing for hot fuzz was very busy but wasn’t that bad in the end. We didn’t have to catch too many ads as we’d got in a bit late but caught an awesome trailer for the film 300, it looks sooo immense. Thenn came the actual film and all I can say is go watch it because it’s funny and ace. If you like spaced and simon pegg then you’ll love it.

My bro gave me a call last night asking if I wanted to work for him for this week doing odd random shitty officie jobs, paid (despite it being gay pay) for it. I said alright, and I went in today to experience for the first time working in an office.

It’s the year of the Pig, I’ve no idea what this means in terms of life and the year ahead but heh. I got lucky red envelopes with money in woo. Though I actually could do with as much luck as I can get my hands on at the moment.

I got a phonecall this morning, and it’s the people getting back to me about the interview. They offered me the job!

She offered me a salary, and said that I would start in April - This was so that I could get my gigs etc out the way so I can do my training unintterupted which is fine by me. Though I do admit this surprised me a little but at least I don’t have to worry or rush about. In fact it just leaves me with a month to say goodbye to studenthood forever :(

I still can’t believe it, I think I’ve told anyone and everyone to death by now. But I’m so chuffed and cheery and all that. This is the moment I’ve been aching for like crazy and now it’s finally happened. Fuck YEAH!

But until then I get to bum about for a month without worry too! Haha now that is truely awesome.

Yep it’s that’s time of year again, and whichever way you look at it you should just take it with a pinch of salt(ice cream) and always have a laugh and joke about it.

My Manics ticket turned up today, that was super quick!

Now I shall end the evening with a curry and some hagen das later mmmm good food. But the curry places around here are pretty lame actually ha.

Still no call about the job yet :( two more days to go…

So after agonising and stressing and worrying and being in fact quite scared, the interview cam round and I found myself all done up in my suit talking to myself in the car while driving to somewhere I’ve never been to before.

Yes seriously, I was talking away. Practicing the answers to the questions that they’ll probably ask out loud.
