Mood : Blown away
Curently Listening to : Ours - Mercy

Oh my god!

Seriously…

The new Ours tracks sound absolutely amazing so far.

Tonight we were not conned and we were not left listening/enduring emo for an hour but instead we were presented with the amazing sounds of Two new tracks: Mercy and Ran away to tell the world, as well as an acoustic performance of Murder.

All I can say is Mercy was worth every single bit of suffering and staying up I endured heh. It is the most amazing thing I have ever heard sine hearing a Studio version of Head by TCTC…it’s that kinda emotion/senses overload. It really did blow everyone away, it’s been so well produced.

They soo played an acoustic version of Murder that again was as sexhually charged as ever, I mean it’s impossible to hear Jimmy pant down a mic and not find it extremely tantalising. But yeah the radioshow is recorded in the guy’s basement, and they had Ours performing in their kitchen. I mean man I want a band like Ours performing in my kitchen! (Okayy my folks wouldn’t like it but well..ya know…screw them!)

After a bit of filling and bantering, with Jimmy taking over a bit announcing tracks and picking them, they play another studio version of Ran away to tell the world. That sounded good, don’t get me wrong, it was still good in that ‘Oh my god it’s new!’ way, but after hearing Mercy it would be pretty hard to top that. Ran away is still pretty damnn good, not has heavy/thick in turns of Mercy but still ace. The lyrics are beautiful: ‘Don’t spend your whole life waiting for your whole life…’

And that was that….there’s another show on Sunday at 2am UK time with 1 more acoustic and 1 more studio track.

Oh god I can’t wait.

Hehe me and Michelle were on msger being giddy/giggly like a pair of school girls through the whole thing. I can’t stop listening to Mercy argh.

I can’t wait for the album now, even if I have to pay a stupid amount to import it, it’s going to be mindblowing I know it is.

Ha I can’t believe how good these tracks are. The bootlegs just don’t do them enough justice. I have to, I repeat HAVE to see them play live. Even if I have to sell possessions for the money I will do it!

*sigh*

This can’t go on forever…right?

Mood : Blah
Curently Listening to : The Cooper Temple Clause - Head

I constantly keep failing to get up at the correct time. Well not correct time, more-so a sane normal everyday time that isn’t the afternoon. I mean this kind of thing isn’t on especially since I’m not a student anymore.

But will it ever stop? Every time I attempt to rectify it I fail miserably. I’ve tried everything from multiple alarms, putting alarms away from me, people to text me and call me, people to shout me up. But every single thing fails.

The only thing that seems to work at all is knowing I have something important the next day, something that important that I can’t miss it. That’s the only thing that even gets to me at all to make sure I force myself up.

This has to change! But why can’t I do it? Ha I haven’t been out the house for *counts* three days now. This is now verging towards critical!

I’m turning into one of these…crazy people. A student that’s not a student that doesn’t even have a loan. Tho I guess by staying inside I’m saving money, which is another crucial thing at the moment what with now 8 gigs coming up. EEp…

I heard the headliners for Download festival and I am very very disappointed, terrible, absolutely terrible. I want to know how they can merge Emo and Metal at the same festival?? I mean My Chemical Romance one day, Linkin park another and then Iron Maiden on the other…Wait a min none of those are metal bands!!

Rubbish absolutely rubbish.  I love the days when it was just Ozzfest and they had a decent lineup. Now stinky download has taken over with their rubbish. So much for my theory/far fetched idea of NIN headlining it.

Have to stay up again tonight to try and catch what hopefully witll be the actual radioshow with Ours and their new tracks - and NOT another hour of emo like last time ha. I’m hoping that will cheer me me on now what is turning out to be a rubbish day and a half, because a) I lost half of the day because I don’t have the capability of getting up anymore. And because b) I’m feeling totally 100% fed up about anything associated with my thing called life.

This feeling, this sensation, it’s gotta end at some point…?

Go with Paul woo

March, the month of gigs

Mood : happy
Curently Listening to : The Cooper Temple Clause - Head

You should already know by now that I’m going to see NIN play four times in March, along with Deftones soon after. That’s…what? 5 gigs I already had planned…But now I am going to two more…

To see The Cooper Temple Clause againnn :D WOOOOHOOOOO!

I was a bit confused this morning because I had a barrage of text messages but then I read one from Paul about TCTC gigs 0_o and I thought eh? So I checked all the usual haunts, their site and myspace but eventually it was on their message board I found the answers. They’re doing a UK tour at the end of March. Woooo! Some discussion later and me and Paul will be going to Birmingham and Leeds dates :D With the chance of hooking up with Gem in Leeds too.

I’m so happy :D I mean seriously all I need in life is my music and gigs and I could be quite content for a longgg time. So yeah super dosage of my two of my favourite bands in one month. I can’t wait. It’s actually given me some hope and care about life again, which is a good thing because my hope was dwindling away again *sigh*.

Music and gigs and bands and everything about them just makes me smile and laugh and smirk and giggle and giddy and makes everthing that’s rubbish go away.

Woooooo gigs!

Okay…this week I’m going to power it with organising stuff. This means sorting out the helping out at school thing and job applications.

Ha and to add….I think I will be going to the Machester TCTC date with Darren, which will make it three gigs in total. Wooooo!

<3

Awesome

The emo hour

Mood : frustrated
Curently Listening to : Emo radio!

Haha….

Well me and Michelle stayed up to listen to a radio station because they were going to have exclusive acoustic performances by Ours doing tracks off the new album…

Or so we thought….

Instead we, and the rest of some of the hardcore fanbase, ended up listening to what sounded like the emo hour. It was ugh terrible and painful but we strive on with hope that someone would make some announcement about the show. But then come an hour later and its a completely different show that comes on.

Ours fans were outraged! Haha, though looking back at it, it was pretty damn funny - we listened to an hour of emo for nothing. We also happened to be on the same thread of an Ours message board, that we incidently then crashed because there was so many of us online haha….

It’s been a funny but frustrating night, but still no new Ours tracks. I was looking forward to them like crazy as well :(

I hope I’ll find out tomorrow what was up.
